silver tongued reflection of lifes route 1965
Every person has a story. Sometimes we don't notice we have one until late in life - when questions arise to why we are here on this earth. Are we truly the sum of our experiences? "Silver tongued relection of lifes route 1965" is a reflection of my life. A reflection of a past no longer lived. A reflection of someone who no longer exists.
A heart with protruding nails - outward - not allowing one to hold it tightly hangs in the chest cavity. Broken mirrors reflect the ability to look within - to see myself for what I truly was. The Barbie sits and reveals a worldy beauty that is unattainable. The outward silver metallic look of the piece reminds one of a heavy armor of protection but upon closer inspection is revealed to be made of paper mache. A false security? Some splatters of femininity are here and there - roses, sequins and lace...a biological clock ticks on...still barbed wire covers the base - more so called protection?
Safety does not reside in paper mache dress forms - nor behind rusted, broken barbed wire.
The LORD protects the simple-hearted; when I was in great need, he saved me.
Psalm 116:6
Used to make silver tongued reflection:
old table pedestal, doll head, Barbie, old clock fixture, old dress form, barbed wire, duct tape, sequins, nails etc.
